Important notice to Patients
Retirement of Practice Nurse
Tina will be retiring from post in March 2019.
We would all like to wish Tina a very happy (and peaceful) retirement.
We would also like to thank Tina for her many years of service in the NHS and with the Hallgate Surgery team.
Tina will be greatly missed.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PATIENTS
Retirement of GP
This notice is to inform you that Dr Mark Hancocks will be retiring from General Practice in January 2019
Dr Hancocks has worked for the NHS for many years and came to work as a GP in Cottingham in 1988 taking over the Hallgate Surgery from the previous GP.
His last day at the practice will be Monday 14th January 2019 and it is with a heavy heart that we will be saying goodbye to him. However, I am sure you will all agree with us that after many years of dedication to his patients and the NHS he deserves a long and happy retirement.
Regarding Dr Zoe Norris
Dr Zoe Norris will also be departing the practice to pastures new in 2018
Zoe has been a vital part to the practice team leading on palliative care for the surgery.
We wish Zoe all the best in her endeavours in the future, she will be missed.

We are moving!
Hallgate Surgery will be moving to the Cottingham Clinic W/E 23rd February 2018
We will be open as normal Monday 26th February at the new site.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Lindsay Guest is now doing two sessions a week, so is available to see patients on a Tuesday and Thursday morning.
Patient Participation Group (PPG)
We are looking for patient’s from all demographics to sign up to our Patient Participation Group. The aim of the Group is to help us find out from you what we do well and what we can do better to ensure we continue to maintain a high level of service. Being part of this group may involve us contacting you via telephone or email or you may need to attendance at a regular meeting.If you are interested in joining our PPG, please get in touch with a member of our Reception team for more information.
